Adam Dean – who teaches regularly on the MA/IMMJ in Beijing – has won the prestigious 2011 Sony Emerging Photographer Award for his work on a US Medevac team working in Afghanistan.
Nick Kozak and Gemma Thorpe, two graduates from the MA/IMMJ predecessor course, have had their work exhibited recently. Nick’s street photography has been published on the Toronto-based Boreal collective site, while Gemma’s Transition project is showing at The New Art Gallery, Walsall, until 18 June.
